Côr Teifi return with soloists Rhiannon Ashley, Efan Williams and Steven Welch, plus the Haverfordwest Ladies Choir and full orchestra, for a varied programme under the leadership of Henry Ward, on Sunday, November 24 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the Oak Hall (Neuadd y Dderwen), Rhosygilwen. Michael Tippet – Music: a unison setting of a mystical poem by William Blake.
Hector Berlioz – L’Adieu des Bergers: from Berlioz’s oratorio “L’Enfance du Christ”.
George Holloway – Pied Beauty: UK premiere of a setting of a poem by Gerald Manley Hopkins.
Bob Chilcott – Midwinter: sung by Haverfordwest Ladies Choir, conducted by Nancy Mann.
John Tavener – The Lamb: a touching setting of William Blake’s poem for unaccompanied voices.
Hector Berlioz – Epilogue and Mystical Chorus: the closing section of Berlioz’s “L’Enfance du Christ”.
J.S. Bach – Iesu, Drud Ddifyrrwch Dynion (Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring): the chorus, sung in Welsh.
J.S. Bach – Wachet Auf (Sleepers Awake): one of Bach’s most dramatic and most popular sacred cantatas.

The concert in St Mary's Church, Cardigan included works by Stainer, Corelli, Smith, Oxley, Goss & Alun Rhys Williams.
Organ accompaniment by Sarah-Jane Absalom and conducted by Margaret Daniel.
There was a collection for the HUTS Workshop, a charity based in Newcastle Emlyn which supports adults with mental health concerns.
